Discover Andalucia with our daytrip Road Trip Tours
The cultural and natural heritage of Andalusia is almost untouchable. Take one of our Road Trip Tours so you can get closer to it. There is a wealth of landscapes and a wide variety of cultural heritage due to the number of civilizations that have been passing through these lands over the centuries.
In Granada Alternativa we want to propose different road trips that will bring you closer to that diversity and allow you to return to your hotel in Granada in the same day. We offer trips that are within the province of Granada such as Las Alpujarras, Sierra Nevada or the Costa Tropical. Other destinations much sought after by our customers are the city of Seville, the city of Cordoba or the picturesque town of Ronda, which is home to, among other things, the oldest and probably the most beautiful bullring in Spain.
We design the best routes for you just to enjoy!
Of course, we are open to designing a route that meets the expectations of our travelers. Our intention is that you spend an unforgettable time on your vacation or in your free time. Therefore, we want to offer you experiences that motivate you, that meet your expectations and that make you take a great memory of Granada.
Granada is very well connected by road with the main attractions of Andalusia, so in a few hours we can go to Seville, take a bike ride along the Guadalquivir and visit the Torre del Oro and the monumental Plaza de España, take some tapas in the neighborhood of Santa Cruz and return to Granada after visiting the Giralda and the Cathedral of Seville. Or maybe, you just want to make a route through the rooted tapas bars and markets of the more authentic Seville.
We propose destinations and routes and together we plan which itinerary we will follow. But finally, it will be you the one who decides what road trip you want to do in Andalusia.
We offer 7 Road Trip Tours:
Travel to the center of the Moorish region where the last Muslims of the peninsula lived. Visiting towns such as Capileira or Soportujar is like a transportation to an almost medieval world, with narrow and steep streets, whitewashed moorish style houses, flat roofs and geraniums on the balconies. For greater delight the gastronomy of these people will satisfy your senses and, even better, your appetite.
Tropical Coast of Granada and Malaga
In addition to hidden coves with pines that reach the shore of the Mediterranean, this coast has picturesque white villages such as Nerja or Salobreña. This region is also characterized by its tropical fruits, such as avocado, mango, papaya and cherimoya.
The highest peaks of the Iberian Peninsula await you to enjoy the best views and the wildest natural environment in Andalusia. Climatic and altitude conditions give rise to a unique fauna and flora, which feeds on the multiple sources of water that come from the melting snow of its peaks.
The capital of Andalucia is a jewel, already discovered many centuries ago by many civilizations and now you will be the next “victim”. Let yourself fall in love by the charm of Seville, its beautiful whitewashed streets dressed in geraniums. The imposing Plaza de España and Maria Luisa Park await you after strolling along the Guadalquivir River and leaving behind the Triana district and the Torre del Oro.
Cordoba is synonymous with splendor, all the cultures that passed through left behind their greatness, and the best are the small streets of the Jewish quarter where you have to get lost yourself to find the treasures.
Located within the mountain range is Ronda. Built onto 2 gorges that meet and are crowned with the stately city of Ronda over them. Architectural jewels, breathtaking landscapes and viewpoints and, probably, the best gastronomy in Spain.
Caminito del Rey
Is a path built on the walls of the Gaitanes gorge, in the interior of the Sierra de Malaga. A path more than 3 km length that develops inside a canyon with almost vertical walls and that hang up to 105 meters. Rather it should be called as a way to heaven, for beauty and isolation.
